Deverikos takes an impressive class win at Gulf 12h Abu Dhabi race
GDL Racing claims a one-two-three in a thrilling Gulf 12 Hours race!
GDL Racing hit the target in the Gulf 12 Hours. The team led by Gianluca De Lorenzi claimed that victory it barely missed last year, when it just postponed the appointment with the top spot of the podium to this weekend’s eight edition of the race.
To take the GT Cup win after dominating both the six-hour opening half and the final stint, was the Lamborghini Huracán Super Trofeo car shared by Greek Dimitri Deverikos, Italian Mario Cordoni and Brit Steven Liquorish, the last two already second in their class in 2017.

Deverikos takes an impressive class win at 12h Imola
Deverikos Dimitris Racing claimed an impressive SPX class win at 12h Imola. Starting from the pole position set on the Friday’s qualifying, Gianluca De Lorenzi , Dimitri Deverikos, Andrés Josephsohn entered the overall top 10.
At the end of the race, the GDL Racing crew finished sixth over 50 cars achieving a historic victory, the first in the Creventic series for a brand new Lamborghini Huracán Super Trofeo Evo car developed by GDL Racing specifically for the endurance competition.
Seventh in the first part of the race, the GDL Racing drivers set a good pace, claiming a great final place as a result of a perfect strategy, mixed with the experience of De Lorenzi, and the high feeling of Josephsohn (who already raced with the GDL Racing in the Lamborghini Super Trofeo Europe) and Greek Deverikos with the car.
Everything went perfectly for them from start to flag, with a very narrow final gap from the first of the GT3 cars, ahead of several drivers of the major class.

Deverikos racing in 12 hours of Imola with Leipert Motorsport
After an extremely crazy 12h race Imola we saw the checkered flag – as the only Lamborghini Huracán! Never give up!
After a hard night of work because of an engine problem our staff could present the #10 on the grid. Only half a lap after the start of the 2nd stint of the 12h race we were shoot out by another driver into the gravel. Some hours work for our guys – but after this hard work we were back on the track. And we finished the race with one’s head raised. Many thanks to our reliable staff and to our great drivers Dimitris Deverikos, Aleksander Schjerpen, Harald Schlotter, Morgan Haber.
